Deborah Moss took this photo. It was taken on June 17, 2006 in Maui while hiking the Sliding Sands Trailhead in the Haleakala National Park. The photo shows the Bottomless Pit. The trailhead starts out at over 10,000 feet and you hike down about 3500 feet. This National Park contains the Crater. The land looks like a place to film an outer space movie. The different colors and texture of the land/area was awesome. The clouds were just starting to roll in.
