Flags of Bermuda History
(After celebrating my husband's 85th birthday in western Pennsylvania we drove to Philadelphia for a cruise to Bermuda.)
The picture,taken August 7th from atop the Maritime Museum at the Royal Naval Dockyard, dubbed the "Gibraltar of the West," looks across the Great Sound. It is memorable to me not only for the wonderful view, but the 4 flags, which I happened to get totally unfurled, of the countries involved in Bermuda's history; Great Britain, the U.S., Bermuda and Canada.
