And a new addition: yesterday I found this one close to our neighbors place, who shoots all snakes on sight. So I carried him home. Until he was released in our cactus garden, he proved to my arm that he's a true constrictor - and hissed at my dogs - a sound very much like a rattle, while vibrating his tail. We hope that he'll stay and help with the pack rats!
