Yesterday late afternoon, we saw 2 bobcat kittens in our backyard. Mom was nowhere to be found. Unlike the adult bobcat that usually comes into the yard, these young ones were afraid of me. This one scampered into our outdoor fireplace hoping to escape from me and my camera. Uh, just so you know, my beloved cottontails are all missing!! (gasp, sigh!)

Thanks all! Next time we go on vacation, I obviously need to hire a cottontail sitter (if ever we start a new bunny population here!) AND a bobcat chaser! ;) I appreciate the welcome back, Tom--vacation plus computer demise upon return! BTW, I think this bobkitty looks far too FAT! ;)
