The Royal Gorge Bridge in Colorado hangs 1,053 feet above the Arkansas River, making it the highest suspension bridge in the world. The Royal Gorge Bridge has a length of 1,260 feet, a main span length of 880 feet and is 18 feet wide. It has a wooden walkway consisting of over 1000 planks. The Bridge is suspended from towers that are 150 feet high. Pictured is the trolly that takes you across if you do not want to walk.
