The Royal Gorge Bridge in Colorado hangs 1,053 feet above the Arkansas River, making it the highest suspension bridge in the world. The Royal Gorge Bridge has a length of 1,260 feet, a main span length of 880 feet and is 18 feet wide. It has a wooden walkway consisting of over 1000 planks.
