Bautiful, Tom. I've tried and failed to photograph the flock in a flooded field south of Tumacacori.

I hadn't seen one at Sweetwater yet!

I wanted a picture of this bird when
visiting Yuma, but only saw it in flocks flying between fields.
Very nice to study it close up with the markings nicely defined. Very nice shot.

I wish this was a lot closer. It's a large crop. The bird was about hundred yards away in the center of a recharge basin #7. The light was also an issue, but I decided to post the image as this is a new bird for me.
