It's a magpie, not totally unknown in the States either. Big corvid.

Hi and thanks! Yes, this bird is a magpie. In Sweden we call them "skata". (One "skata" - many "skator".) U can see them everywhere here - I think they are beautiful. Do you have them in Tucson?
