Thanks so much for your kind words re: the photo. The funeral services for Officer Hite and show of support from the Tucson community was so beautiful yesterday, it's really all I've thought about since then. My heart really goes out to Officer Hite's family, especially his wife and their adorable baby girl.
Kelly- I read your posting in Officer Hite's online guestbook...what a beautiful sentiment. Chase and I were pulled over to the side of the road at TV/Tomahawk trail during the car chase and shooting that took Officer Hite's life. We were unintentionally one of the first on scene...like you, it's been pretty much all I've thought about since then. My heart breaks for his family and the law enforcement community. Thanks again for the beautiful tributes you've shared!
