The snake that sent Frodo to the vet yesterday was still hiding on the patio. Now he's caught and on his way far into the State Land. (That's what the bin is for.)Frodo is back at home and curious what all the excitement is about. Antivenom, when administered very early, really works wonders.

You showed a lot more compassion towards the snake that bit your dog than I did to the one that bit ours.

Tommy, if we killed all the snakes that come close to our dogs, we would just replace old guys by unpredictable youngsters (like this one). We leave the bigger, older ones alone - never had any problems with them. Let's hope this one doesn't come back too soon.
