This evening's lightning show. I am excited. I never took a good lightning pic ever, but I followed the suggestions from this morning's Star lightning blog and the weather cooperated. I had the camera balanced on my backyard wall. Taken from Tucson Mts.

Thanks all. I used my Canon 20D with a 15 second exposure, ISO 100, 75-300 zoom set at 80. Manual focusing works best. The camera can't deal with automatic focus in the dark conditions.

The f-stop was 10. I had it on T so I could set the time for 15 seconds and the camera, then, determines the f-stop.
