"Ft. Union National Monument" (1) an important frontier fort in New Mexico from 1851-1891. From here soliders fought Indians, a confederate invasion during Civil War, and supplied other forts throughout the southwest.

I like the "fort" photos. Looks like the wagons all just stopped in time.
