Photo Rating:

I stand corrected by my fellow photographers. Thank you one and all! It appears this is a juvenile male Northern Cardinal. This little cutie was found at the Sonoran Desert Musuem in Tucson, Arizona.

Nice shot Harold - and I always enjoy your detailed explanations.

Nice picture. I think what you have there is a juvenile male northern cardinal. As juveniles, the cardinals have a black beak that later turns pink.

Good photo. The Pyrrhuloxia has a yellow bill so I will have to agree with Monika.

Black feathers around the beak, and the fairly wide distribution of reddish tint - I'd say those two are right about it being a N. Cardinal
