Bill, it is uncanny how I miss almost all of them. For me with a Sony DSC-R1, I put the camera on a tripod. Turn to "A" mode and turn to F16 (which is the highest it goes. Then I click and hope that it captures something in the 2 or three seconds it is capturing an image. Then as it processes the image, another 2 seconds. So, for me, very random and I just keep clicking. Next year I want a camera that "processes" faster.
I've never been able to catch lightening in a photograph. How do you do it? Great shot with a tremedous amount of power and drama.
