Wind River Mountain Range, Wyoming, Aug.'08... Smoke from a forest fire nearly obliterated the sun, as it set into the mountain range. The haze turned the entire landscape into gradient shades of red, lavender, purple and blue. The flare around the sun is real, although I "dodged" the sun in Photoshop to reveal the smoke's veil.
