Very unusual ... and eerie.

Unless you were looking around, they were easy to miss because they were down in the wash and barely visible from the road. Most were standing, but there were a couple that had exhausted themselves and fallen over in the sand.

You ought to convert this to black and white ... it is really dramatic.

I have no idea who put them there, or why. It was obvious they had been there for a while. They were weathered and some had fallen down.
