Taken 050807 at about 2 pm along La Canada north of Orange Grove. I'd just seen this gigantic fellow dive, grab a bird, and take it to the top of the pole to eat it. I stopped to take some pictures. After some research, I'm pretty sure it's a golden eagle. Very exciting!
