I'm reading that this is part of a migration study of monarchs. Whether that's any consolation...
Thank you, Howard..yes these are all from the pier there, using a handheld Nikkor 70-200 2.8, sometimes with a 1.4 tele. I've some more I'll post.
I didn't do color corrections or enhancements; as the sunset waned, the colors culminated into these intense hues.
